About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and serve light meals
  • Assist with feeding patients when needed
  • Support patients with ambulation and mobility
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks
  • Document patient care and progress
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement activities
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Current CPR certification
