Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer III to join our team at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine. As a key member of our development team, you will design, develop, test, and deploy applications that support the school's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy applications using a variety of programming languages and technologies
  • Work closely with the development team to prioritize projects and tasks and set deadlines
  • Analyze and resolve escalated application support issues
  • Conduct application performance and availability monitoring and reporting
  • Assist with the review of best practices for collaborative software development projects
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred and 3 to 5 total years of experience
  • 1-3 years experience in Perl and Python development, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Source control experience (Git, TFS)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Able to solve complex problems creatively and in a timely manner
  • Must be self-motivated, adaptable, hands-on, and demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and multi-task
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with HIPAA security is a plus
  • Familiarity with working with FERPA data is a plus
