About the Role

Remedy Detroit, a minority-owned dispensary serving metro Detroit, is seeking a skilled Budtender to provide exceptional customer service and success. This role is more focused on educating customers about products than sales.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable as an educator, thrive on connecting customers with the right products, and maintain a compliant retail environment.

  • Manage patient orders efficiently, ensuring accurate records and timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to store standards.
  • Provide top-notch service to new and existing customers, fostering long-term relationships for referrals and repeat business.
  • Effectively use point-of-sale systems, responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of available products, providing informed guidance to customers.
  • Adhere to best practices for customer engagement and compliance, projecting a positive image of the organization.

Compensation

$15 - $18 per hour

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year in a customer-facing role in retail or hospitality, with excellent communication skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years old (as required by state regulations) and possess a high school diploma.
  • Intermediate math skills, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Proficient computer skills, dynamic interpersonal skills, and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal experience with cannabis is highly desirable.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in managing a register and knowledge of state cannabis regulations.
