Job Overview

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
  • Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress
Requirements
  • An associate's degree from a speech-language pathology assistant program or a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders, plus completion of fieldwork hours and a state-issued license
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
