IVF Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate IVF Coordinator to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our fertility treatment team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients undergoing IVF treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all aspects of the IVF cycle, including pre-cycle testing, monitoring, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and post-cycle care.
  • Provide education and support to patients on the IVF process, medications, and potential outcomes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patients undergoing IVF, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in fertility treatments and IVF technology.
  • Manage patient scheduling for appointments, procedures, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure all necessary supplies and medications are available for each IVF cycle.
  • Address patient concerns and answer questions in a compassionate and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IVF Coordinator or in a similar role in the fertility field.
  • Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical procedures in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple patients and cycles simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of fertility medications, IVF procedures, and reproductive health.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other medical software.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach, with a commitment to providing the highest level of care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to continue learning and staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in fertility treatments and technology.
  • Understanding of patient privacy laws and ethical standards in the medical field.
