Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances (NETX). As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for operating all cath lab equipment and digital processing equipment, performing cath lab duties, and contributing to the general operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Operate all cath lab equipment and digital processing equipment.
- Perform all cath lab duties, including scrub assistant, X-ray equipment operation, and digital processing.
- Contribute to the general operation of the department by picking up supplies, stocking supplies, and keeping the work area orderly.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development to perform procedures on and assist in the care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Minimum 2 years of CLT experience.
- Knowledgeable in EP Lab.
- Travel experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
- Shift: 5-8 hour days schedule.
- Orientation billable up to the first 36 hours.
- Length: 13 weeks.
- Holidays: Per Ministry Policy.
- Weekends: No.
- Call: Yes.
- Float: Yes - Occasional EP Lab.
- Guaranteed: 35 hours per week.
- EMR: EPIC.
- Specialization can be obtained in any of the following modalities with training and active participation: Diagnostic Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Angiography, Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator Implantation.
- Responsibilities include assuring the quality and acquisition of Cardiac Cath digital images.
- Scrubs: Black, or any color the HCP has on hand.
