Job Summary

Christus Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate all equipment, computers, and digital imaging/processing equipment during assigned shifts and on-call in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab).
  • Perform duties such as scrub assistant, procedure documentation/hemodynamic monitoring, and safe X-ray equipment operation/digital processing as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development to perform procedures on and assist in the care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
  • Current RT(R), RCIS, RCES certification.
  • Current Texas MRT license if current ARRT (R) certification.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program or an accredited Cardiovascular program or hold an RCIS license.
  • Prior acute care hospital experience preferred (Cath Lab/Cardiology, Advanced Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology).
  • Basic knowledge of cardiac cath lab and hemodynamic monitoring.
