Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Oceaneering Aerospace and Defense Technologies (ADTECH). As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of complex power and control systems for unique underwater robotic and electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for underwater robotic and electromechanical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and signal processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, software, and systems engineering components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the marine or aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Experience with CAD software, such as Altium Designer or AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with underwater robotics and electromechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as IEEE, ANSI, and IEC.
  • Experience with programming languages, such as C++ or Python.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Government Department of Defense Security Clearance.
