We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Charge Nurse in our Emergency Room department at South Arkansas Regional Hospital. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of nurses, and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions to meet the needs of patients.
- Lead and supervise a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and department efficiency.
- Associate Degree in Nursing with current licensure as a nurse in the State of Arkansas.
- Two years of nursing experience, with progressively responsible work experience and demonstrated leadership and administrative skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
