Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our electrical construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating construction operations, purchases, financial reporting, and project controls activities for an assigned portfolio of concurrent electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate construction operations, purchases, financial reporting, and project controls activities for assigned electrical projects.
  • Participate in proposals and procurement, contract negotiations, and manage all aspects of project operations and financial performance.
  • Ensure work is performed within a pre-scheduled budget and manage project performance to meet or exceed prescribed goals.
  • Provide direction on individual staff development and manage, appraise, and evaluate individual team member performance for subordinate positions.
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers and Supervisory staff to allocate staff and resources to meet objectives and investigate ways to improve the efficiency and profitability of all projects.
Requirements
  • BS in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of electrical commercial construction experience with an electrical contractor.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to manage/run multiple projects as required.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, judgment, decision making, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools required for electrical construction.
  • Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional computer skills.
  • Must possess a firm knowledge and be fluent in estimating.
Working Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. There may be a variety of weather conditions while on jobsites such as rain, snow, heat. There may be high noise levels while on jobsites.
