Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our cross-functional project teams in delivering business-critical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing large-scale projects, with expertise in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver business-critical projects
  • Drive decisions regarding project priorities and business requirements
  • Manage project scope, budget, resources, and delivery risks
  • Ensure quality of deliverables and compliance with internal procedures and policies
  • Build and maintain working relationships with IT and business stakeholders
  • Manage a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers
  • Manage dependencies within program streams and between projects
  • Manage project deadlines, breakdown tasks, and set targets
  • Provide feedback, advice, guidance, and encouragement to team members
  • Host regular project meetings and report status updates to management
  • Proactively recognize warning signs, raise risks and issues, and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Communicate with the team frequently to update them on project progress and status
  • Take ownership of the project budget, scope, timeline, and effectively manage baseline change control

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing business-critical projects end-to-end
  • Past experience leading large programs with multiple projects
  • 5+ years in the insurance industry (Life preferred)
  • Past experience managing large-scale cross-functional teams and offshore delivery vendors
  • Past experience working in both Waterfall and Agile delivery environments in the insurance industry
  • Experience delivering projects under a regulatory environment in the financial services industry
