Job Summary

The Facilities Manager I is responsible for overseeing the development and supervision of day-to-day operations and maintenance. This role ensures the smooth functioning and code compliance of designated facilities, including equipment and systems, by managing and directly supervising the activities of maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Ensures the effective maintenance and operation of buildings, grounds, equipment, and hardware by utilizing efficient planning and scheduling and ensuring work is completed according to applicable regulations and standards.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Leads, supervises, and performance manages facilities staff and is accountable for the area's operational planning as well as resource allocation and utilization.
  • Project Management: Organize, plan, coordinate, execute, monitor, and deliver minor work projects.
  • Capital Projects: Assist with major capital projects when required.
  • Work Order Management: Ensuring that work orders and service requests are completed in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order/purchase of supplies.
