Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Supervisor to lead our team and manage shift operations in alignment with our company's goals and values. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the proper working order of equipment and arrange for repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Manage cash-handling procedures and complete end-of-day reconciliation paperwork.
  • Schedule events, negotiate details, and forecast work schedules with restaurant needs and labor cost objectives in mind.
  • Maintain cleanliness and efficiency, ensuring the team follows procedures for restaurant appearance, sanitation, and preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members on menu planning and establish efficient workflows.
  • Implement procedures for ingredient usage, food portions, production sequencing, and workstation arrangements to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment, mentor staff, and provide opportunities for growth and development.
  • Address workplace issues proactively, including product waste and employee theft, and perform disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Engage with customers to ensure excellent service is provided by the food service staff and step in to assist whenever needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in food service management or a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends.
