About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our IT Department as an intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support, work with a team of professionals, and develop valuable skills in computer literacy, customer service, and teamwork.

Job Duties
  • Password Resets: Assist users in logging back into their computers via password help, resets, and general troubleshooting.
  • Imaging: Follow steps to build desktop/laptop computers through imaging processing, including unboxing, connecting to workbench, running setup, and adding user information and Active Directory (AD)/Organization Unit (OU) information.
  • Onboarding: Provide new equipment to users from start to finish, including following checklists, coordinating with Accounts Management and Email Group (AMMG) for access, and ensuring customers can work.
  • Help Desk Calls: Answer phone calls, create Service Now tickets, troubleshoot and assist as able, and escalate tickets to appropriate groups if needed.
  • General Troubleshooting: Assist with user issues, software downloads, printer set-ups, moving of users, and other scenarios that may occur.

Qualifications
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university.
  • Be in good standing with the college/university.
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
  • Be enrolled in at least one course.
  • Be pursuing a degree or finishing a degree.

This is an ongoing internship located in Columbus, OH. The selected candidate will ideally be able to work throughout the school year and summer, for an average of 20 hours per week or less (with flexibility during the school semesters given class schedule and course load).

The pay rate for a college intern is based upon the students' academic status: Undergraduate student rate of pay - $16.93, Graduate student rate of pay - $20.59.
