Job Summary

This is a full-time hybrid role for an HW Validation Engineer at Axonne, a leading provider of innovative automotive Ethernet semiconductor solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating and testing semiconductor devices, participating in system design reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of our high-speed Ethernet solutions in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate the chip functionalities, both electrically and at protocol/system level, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize lab equipment to perform electrical measurements, such as timing parameters, compliance testing, noise/jitter analysis, and other relevant tests.
  • Develop scripts to automate functional/feature testing and collaborate with chip designers, board designers, and firmware engineers to study and debug silicon.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware validation or testing.
  • Knowledge in Ethernet, PCIe, WiFi, or other communication protocols.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, and other test equipment.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
  • Understanding of electronic circuit design and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
