Pharmacist Tech III PRN Rotating Position

The individual in this position will assist in preparing, packaging, delivering, and charging of medication orders, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

This role includes the preparation of chemotherapy and hazardous drugs.

The individual's responsibilities include:

  • Accurately filling medication orders with correct strength, dosage form, and quantity in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring all medications are checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing.

This position requires the following:

Education, License/Certifications, and Experience
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician certification, as required by State law.
  • Accredited training in sterile products preparation.
Physical Demands
  • Lift/position up to 50 lbs.
  • Push/pull up to 50 lbs. of force.
  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Frequent reaching, stooping, and bending.
  • Manual dexterity, mobility, touch, auditory to perform all the related duties of the position.
