Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed and under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • Promptly report to the nurse any resident requests or needs for PRN medications.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management, and families.
  • Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living.
  • Assist in maintaining a therapeutic environment for residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation, ensuring individualized attention and support.
  • Document medication administration and resident care activities accurately and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current valid Medication Aide Certificate authorized by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Nurse Aide Certification.
