Role Overview:

As a Visual Communication Specialist at Perpay, you will play a crucial role in crafting captivating visual materials that align with our brand and engage our audience. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including product designers, marketers, engineers, and product managers, to create high-quality visual content that reinforces our brand identity and supports various projects. Your responsibilities will encompass designing advertising creatives across multiple platforms, web landing pages, e-commerce banners, emails, animations, social media graphics, branding elements, logo design, and promotional materials. This is a unique opportunity to join a small design team as our first dedicated visual communication hire, allowing you to shape the role and express your creativity. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about transforming customer and business objectives into engaging visuals, using their creativity to address challenges while delighting customers with aesthetically pleasing designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Creativity:
    • Create a diverse range of visual assets, including marketing collateral, digital and print graphics, illustrations, and other creative materials.
    • Contribute to the establishment and upkeep of our visual identity, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to grasp project requirements and deliver top-notch designs.
    • Engage in brainstorming sessions and provide insights on creative strategies.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee multiple design projects concurrently, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
    • Update relevant stakeholders on project status and timelines.
  • Innovation and Improvement:
    • Continuously research and suggest new design trends, techniques, and technologies to keep our brand visuals fresh and engaging.
    • Assist in the development and enhancement of our design systems and libraries.
Qualifications:
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in graphic design or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, and other relevant tools.
  • Familiarity with AI tools applicable to design.
  • Exceptional visual design skills, with a solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design concepts and ideas effectively.
