Key Responsibilities
Medication Preparation
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of medications, including selection, labeling, and compounding.
Medication Distribution
- Deliver medications promptly to designated areas and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and inspections.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or completion of a formal pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
Certifications: Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician or equivalent with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire. Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of six months of hospital experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks while standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods, with manual dexterity for dispensing and compounding tasks.
Personal Protective Equipment: Adhere to standard precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
