About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor III to join our team at UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper. As a Clinical Supervisor III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading a team of clinical professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise a team of 20 or more clinical FTEs, including RNs, LPNs, medical assistants, and other unlicensed personnel.
  • Patient Care: Provide patient care support in accordance with nursing scope of practice, including recording and relaying patient information, assisting patients with therapeutic regimens, and implementing established plans of care.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively and professionally with all members of the interdisciplinary team, patients, medical providers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate a willingness to share responsibilities, support teammates, and work together to achieve common goals.
  • Nursing Practice: Practice within the boundaries of the regulations governing the practice of nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia, including engaging in continuous learning and professional development activities.
Requirements
  • Education: 4-year Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required, with a minimum of 2 years supervisory or lead experience.
  • Licensure: LPN licensure in applicable state preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent human relation skills, effective oral and written communication skills, leadership and problem-solving skills, and ability to operate a personal computer.
