Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Design Engineer to play a crucial role in designing transportation facilities that shape the landscape. As a member of our Transportation Team, you will work on a wide range of projects, from interstates and interchanges to urban arterials and rural roadways.
Key Responsibilities
- Create designs for transportation facilities, including interstates, interchanges, urban arterials, rural roadways, and multimodal facilities.
- Collaborate with mid-level and senior engineers to prepare studies, reports, and design packages for transportation design and planning projects.
- Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring their success.
- Conduct field observation work as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
- 0-2 years of experience in transportation engineering design.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational skills.
- A passion for personal and professional growth within a supportive team environment.
- Familiarity with MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other applicable transportation engineering software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Hydraulics and/or traffic engineering experience is a plus.
