About the Role:
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist for a travel job in Washington, North Carolina. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue used for diagnosis.
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Set controls on related equipment, monitor both the device and patient, making adjustments when needed.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast when applicable.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence, and label them appropriately.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • At least 18 months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a Radiology Imaging Specialist.
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
  • Most states require licensure.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
