Job Title: Administrative Assistant II

L. B. Foster is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant II to join our team. As a leading manufacturer, fabricator, and distributor of products for the transportation, construction, utility, and energy markets, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant II will provide administrative support to various departments, including customer service, vendor management, and inventory control. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide administrative support to various departments, including:

    • Customer service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information on products and services.
    • Vendor management: Coordinate with vendors, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
    • Inventory control: Receive and process inventory, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
  2. Assist with accounts payable processing, including:

    • Reconciling invoices and receipts.
    • Resolving discrepancies between invoices and receipts.
  3. Perform other administrative tasks, including:

    • Shipping and receiving office packages and mail.
    • Faxing, filing, typing, and scanning documents.
    • Ordering office supplies and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of administrative support experience with customer service responsibility.
  • Experience supporting Human Resources functions is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as organization and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
