Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs custodial duties and ensures sanitation control. Maintains offices, buildings, or plant facilities in clean and orderly condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs general cleaning tasks such as stripping floors, buffing, sweeping, dusting, mopping, and scrubbing.
  • Picks up trash on grounds and sweeps entrance walks. Replaces light bulbs and tubes. Removes trash from the building and places in containers.
  • Moves and rearranges furniture. Cleans halls and replenishes supplies as scheduled.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies.
  • Oversees the security of the facility at the end of each workday.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Basic Reading and Writing skills.
  • No prior work experience required.
  • Ability to carry and/or lift up to 15 to 44 pounds.
Working Conditions

Work involves frequent exposure to unpleasant elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noise, and chemicals.
