Position Summary:
As a Lead Nursing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional nursing services to residents within your designated area. This position offers a competitive salary range and a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver comprehensive nursing services to all residents in your assigned neighborhood or program.
2. Provide practical training and mentorship to newly onboarded team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills.
3. Oversee and accurately transcribe physician orders into the electronic health record system and treatment plans.
4. Administer medications and execute treatments as per physician directives, while monitoring and documenting resident responses.
5. Supervise and guide both clinical and non-clinical staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, and evaluate resident care effectively.
7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of residents' conditions and nursing requirements, reporting any significant observations promptly.
8. Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure seamless service delivery.
9. Conduct thorough assessments and verify physician orders during resident admissions, liaising with pharmacy and laboratory services as needed.
10. Provide a comprehensive report to the incoming shift to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license and any additional certifications required by state regulations.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
