Job Summary

Carollo Engineers is a leading environmental engineering firm seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support our mission of delivering innovative water and wastewater solutions. As a key member of our team, you will work on high-profile projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical power systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities with minimal supervision.
  • Perform load calculations, conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with power system applications, including calculation of available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor.
  • Field investigative and start-up experience.
  • Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC.
  • Familiarity with the IEEE color book series.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.
  • Ability to interact positively with clients.
  • 10-15 years of experience working in Electrical Engineering.
  • PE registration required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
