Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Plastatech Engineering Ltd. in Saginaw, Michigan. This 3rd shift, full-time position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Maintain facility and associated equipment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Work with maintenance vendors to source and procure necessary materials and services.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition to promote a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Complete and submit company purchase requisitions to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
  • Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards to protect employees and the environment.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
  • Must have experience with Industrial Controls.
  • Mechanically inclined, and able to perform physical labor, lifting, operating machinery, etc.
  • Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication.
  • Excellent safety and attendance record.
  • Must be able to work overtime when required.
  • Self-motivated and be able to multi-task.
  • High attention to detail and be exceptionally organized.
  • Must have initiative and be able to work in a team and individually.
