EisnerAmper is seeking a seasoned Director to lead our Technical Accounting Advisory Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters, including IPO and M&A readiness, transaction accounting advisory, and technical accounting research.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support a team of professionals to deliver consulting services to multiple client relationships.
- Participate in all stages of engagements, including planning, field work, and deliverable composition.
- Provide conclusions and recommendations on the application of complex accounting guidance to clients and external parties.
- Facilitate calls with client teams, auditors, and legal counsel to accomplish project goals.
- Take ownership of engagements, managing upward and downward expectations to ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
- 11+ years of experience working for a public accounting firm, including at least 3 years in accounting advisory.
- CPA license preferred.
- Strong understanding of FASB, US GAAP, and SEC rules and regulations.
- Proven experience and interest in technical accounting matters, such as IPO/SPAC, ASC 480, 606, 718, 805, or 815, as well as SEC reporting.
