Job Title: Dietician II

Venice Family Clinic is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality services to underserved communities.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting health and wellness.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide expert nutrition guidance to families and staff, focusing on child nutrition, prenatal care, and breastfeeding support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nutrition programs for children and families, adhering to Head Start Performance Standards and CACFP regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Services Manager to ensure compliance with federal guidelines and provide training to parents and staff.
  • Consult with families and staff on best practices in infant and toddler nutrition, prenatal care, and breastfeeding support.
  • Work closely with other locations in Santa Monica and Hawthorne, providing nutrition expertise and support.
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian status with the American Dietetic Association.
  • Knowledge of CACFP and Head Start Regulations.
  • Ability to recognize problem areas in health, nutrition, and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience working with Early Head Start or similar programs.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to other locations within LA County.

Salary Range: $81,348 - $107,302 Annual
