Position Summary
Under the guidance of the Childcare Director at Blue Ridge Community Action, the Program Assistant III plays a crucial role in facilitating the programs under their supervision, along with handling various administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient daily operations. This includes tasks such as document preparation, report generation, data entry, and providing backup support for other administrative positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection and compilation of program data, preparing reports and correspondence as required.
- Generate program reports for evaluation by department leaders and program managers, ensuring timely filing of all documentation.
- Maintain and update all program report forms; may assist in the design and ordering of necessary forms and inventory.
- Support other administrative functions including copying, filing, and mail handling as needed.
- Provide backup support for other administrative roles, which may involve assisting clients and visitors both in person and via phone.
- Participate in training relevant to job responsibilities and any new tasks assigned.
- Part-time hours available.

Education Requirements
- Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
