In the role of Control Systems Assembler and Programmer, you will be tasked with the assembly of the instrument control panel for transformers, ensuring all necessary connections are made. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a combination of technical skills and a strong dedication to safety and quality standards. As you advance in your role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the department by aiding in the training and onboarding of new team members.

Your Impact

  • Execute the assembly of the instrument control panel for transformers, including all required connections.
  • Program and calibrate the instrument controls for optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality inspections and maintain process documentation.
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of technical documentation for assembly and connection procedures.
  • Mentor and train new hires within the department.
  • Plan and review tasks in alignment with established production schedules and manufacturing standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all protocols, policies, and guidelines related to safety, quality assurance, and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, complemented by relevant technical training or experience.
  • Ideally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in instrument control assembly and connections.
  • Proficient in mathematics and capable of interpreting complex schematics.
  • Candidates must be able to pass certification tests in reading, writing, and blueprint interpretation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain certification for working at heights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the potential to develop leadership qualities for future mentoring roles.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function assessments.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English instructions is essential.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization.
  • Willingness to temporarily relocate for on-the-job training as required.
