Business Intelligence BI Developer

Job Description:
  • As a Business Intelligence BI Developer, you will create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. In this role, you should have a background in data and business analysis. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. You will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications
  • Design, build, and deploy BI solutions, such as reporting tools
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms
  • Create tools to transform and store data
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
  • Develop and update technical documentation
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proven prior experience in Data Warehousing, data modeling concepts, design, development, and support using Microsoft BI stack, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, and Power Apps
  • Prior experience with PowerBI development
  • Prior experience with PowerApps development
  • Experience using SQL Server Stored Procedure, Views, and Trigger
  • Experience ETL, Extract, Transform, Load, programming experience
  • Experience SQL Server Reporting Services, SSRS experience
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Experience working within Agile teams
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications to design and deliver optimum solutions for business needs
  • Strong communication skills and a strong self-starter attitude
  • Strong business analyst skills, able to work with many different stakeholders to elicit and document requirements
  • Strong estimation skills and strong track record of accurate estimations for BI solutions
  • Analytical thinker, Strong problem-solving ability
