Role Overview: In the capacity of Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing and sustaining the reliability of equipment, overseeing process engineering, automation, and controls, as well as fostering employee development and spearheading equipment upgrades and design initiatives. This role reports directly to the Director of Engineering.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; an MBA or Master of Engineering Management is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of extensive experience in Engineering and Maintenance Management, with at least 5 years in the food and beverage sector.
  • Proven expertise in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, maintenance programs, equipment installation, and automation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a history of effective teamwork, leadership, adaptability, coaching, and initiative.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&ID, construction drawings, and other relevant documentation.
  • Familiarity with managing preventative maintenance programs, GMPs, and SOPs.
  • Previous experience in maintenance management is a plus.
  • Experience with Project Management and Tracking software/tools is beneficial.
  • Background in installing new lines/equipment and/or initiating new plant start-ups is advantageous.
  • Experience with high-speed packaging machinery is essential.
  • Aseptic processing experience is highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with prior experience in P&L and budget management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Possess the visual acuity necessary for accurate documentation of company records.
