Job Summary

Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) is a leading manufacturer of innovative and environmentally friendly stormwater management solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Downstream Manufacturing Technician to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products, from packaging to labeling and visual inspection. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct final visual inspections and labeling of all finished goods to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Track quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency and meet production goals.
  • Utilize standard operating procedures to package pipe to be delivered to customers.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, including the consistent use of Personal Protection Equipment.
  • Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns, and down-stream equipment set-up.
  • Ability to learn and stay current on pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
  • Practice continuous improvement, including facility housekeeping and process optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous industrial or manufacturing experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in fluctuating temperatures.
  • Full range of body motion, including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles.
  • Ability to stand and be mobile throughout an 8-12 hour shift.
  • Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods.
