Job Summary

At JMA Wireless, we are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machinery in the shop, including Trumpf TruPunch 3000, Trumpf TruBend V130, and other equipment. Your primary focus will be on making high-quality sheet metal parts per engineering specifications, supporting the development of industry-leading products and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate various machinery in the shop, including Trumpf TruPunch 3000, Trumpf TruBend V130, and other equipment.
  • Make quality sheet metal parts per engineering specifications that support the development of industry-leading products and technologies.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure a thorough understanding of what is required.
  • Perform general maintenance on the equipment.
  • Provide DFM input back to the engineering team.

Requirements
  • 2 to 3 years working in a metal fabricating and/or machining environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfortable working on and around machinery.
  • Computer skills; Solid Works, Trumpf TruTopsSoftware, Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine metal fabrication process and requirements.
  • Ability to use various precision measuring tools and gauges to conduct quality checks that ensure finished products meet the required standards and specifications.
