About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation and Controls Specialist to join our team at ASML US, LLC. As a key member of our EUV source team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex algorithms and control systems for our EUV light source.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced control systems for the EUV light source, including controller design, system identification, signal processing, and stochastic signal analysis.
  • Implement software and firmware requirements for control algorithm implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with other EUV source components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system requirements, design specifications, and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to junior engineers and other team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Controls, Mechanical, Computer, Chemical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
  • Specialization in advanced control systems preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience with a PhD, 5+ years' experience with a Master's degree, or 7+ years' experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Linear systems, feedback control, signal processing, estimation, and system identification, and nonlinear systems postgraduate courses highly regarded.
  • Relevant industry experience.
