Bakery Specialist Job Description

At Golden Corral, we are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our food production team, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including yeast rolls, cakes, pies, and specialty desserts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Production: Prepare hand-made yeast rolls, cakes, pies, and other baked items to meet production needs.
  • Prepare breakfast bakery items on weekends to meet production demands.
  • Ensure quality and shelf life compliance by following the buffet production system.
Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure that every product in the bakery is fresh, tasty, visually appealing, and hot when appropriate.
  • Maintain quality by preparing all products following Golden Corral recipes and standards.
  • Maintain proper portioning and recipe yields.
  • Follow the Bakery and Dessert Caf Production Guide.
Guest Service:
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to guests, assisting them with baked goods.
  • Know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
Cleanliness:
  • Perform duties to meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
  • Follow local health department laws.
