About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN-Clinical Resident Nurse to join our team in the Medical-Surgical ICU Stepdown 5W department at Baptist Memphis. As a member of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients, providing high-quality care and making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Responsibilities
  • Assess Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Use critical thinking skills to create and implement effective care plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Special Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; computer literacy.
