POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for pharmaceutical care and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

LOCATION:
Services will be provided at various designated health facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of professional pharmacy experience within the last three years.
  • Licensure: Must possess a current, unrestricted pharmacist license.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT:
All healthcare workers must be proficient in English to ensure effective communication.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Healthcare workers should be capable of standing or sitting for extended periods and performing all required duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services aligned with facility capabilities.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage and therapy management.
  • Review patient medication profiles to monitor therapy and ensure safety.
  • Compound medications as necessary and supervise pharmacy operations.
  • Maintain inventory control and ensure the security of pharmaceuticals.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and peer review activities.
  • Engage in ongoing education to support professional development.
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced setting, demonstrating effective time management and teamwork skills. Flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks are essential.
