We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN (Registered Nurse) Interventional Radiology to join our team at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.

Job Summary:

The RN (Registered Nurse) Interventional Radiology will assume responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct/indirect care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct supervision of the Radiologists and the Director of Imaging Services. This role will involve delivering general nursing care to patients in all areas of the Radiology/Imaging Department, assessing patient condition, and taking immediate action in emergency situations.

Responsibilities:
  • Delivers general nursing care to patients in all areas of the Radiology/Imaging Department
  • Assesses patient condition and takes immediate action in emergency situations
  • Responds to patient needs before, during, and after procedures, including assessment of condition, cardiac arrest, intravenous problems
  • Performs pre-examination and post-examination assessments for angiography, CT scan, and minor special procedures
  • Educates patient and family about pre, intra, and post-procedure care
  • Documents care and relays information to physician and patient care unit
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN licensure in Florida
  • 5 years of current hospital experience in either med-surg, ED, or critical care
  • ACLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment)
  • BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment)
  • Radiology Nursing Certification preferred (CRN)
