Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse RN Per Diem Varied

At Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse RN to join our team on a per diem basis. As a member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional patient care in the radiology department, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for our patients.
  • Assess patient condition and take immediate action in emergency situations, responding to patient needs before, during, and after procedures.
  • Perform pre-examination and post-examination assessments for angiography, CT scans, and minor special procedures, including physical exams and vital sign checks.
  • Educate patients and families about pre, intra, and post-procedure care, ensuring they are informed and empowered to make informed decisions.
  • Document care and relay information to physicians and patient care units, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and teamwork, collaborating with colleagues to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Current RN licensure in Florida.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • 5 years of current hospital experience in medical cardiology, emergency room, or critical care.
  • Radiology nursing certification preferred.
