Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ.

About the Role

This is a PRN opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department, utilizing cutting-edge technology to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for scanning procedures
  • Determine the appropriate type and dose of contrast media to be administered
  • Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients
  • Perform venipuncture, IV patency, and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines
  • Monitor patients' physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in CT scan technology
  • Active and current New Jersey State License - NJDEP Radiologic Technologist
  • Maintains CEU credits
  • American Registry of Radiology Technologist (A.R.R.T.) certification
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Applied Science
