Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of interpreting experience and a strong background in American Sign Language (ASL) or education interpreting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting events, discussions, announcements, and conversations
  • Working with students, teachers, and staff to ensure effective communication
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with school administrators and staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in ASL or education interpreting
  • Wisconsin State License for Sign Language Interpreters (SLI)
  • 3.3 EIPA score or higher

Contracting with ProCare Therapy:

  • Virtual Requirements:
    • Must have a valid SLI license
    • At least two years of school experience
    • Home computer with high-speed internet
    • Must be tech-savvy and comfortable with 1099 pay
