Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Services Technician to join our team at Andersen Corporation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our building, including office spaces, systems, restrooms, common areas, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building-related equipment, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Assist with prioritizing and completing work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify and address problem areas, taking independent action to resolve issues when necessary.
  • Recommend and implement necessary building repairs, understanding when professional involvement is required.
  • Conduct basic repairs to facilities equipment and fixtures.
  • Ensure work orders and PMs are completed on all related issues and equipment.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards throughout all job functions, reporting unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor.
  • Provide continuous improvement ideas and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure building grounds are kept safe, clean, and respectable.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS applications and CMMS/EMS.
  • Basic understanding of building and grounds infrastructures.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and establish working relationships with internal customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to coordinate and oversee performance of on-site service providers.
  • Required knowledge of using proper PPE.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
