Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist Senior to join our team at Adventist Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for utilizing computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis and treatment.

As a CT Technologist Senior, you will provide clinical care efficiently and effectively, utilizing your technical and organizational skills, as well as your critical thinking ability. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
  • Ensure department, equipment, and staffing meet requirements set forth by any accreditation maintained by the facility.
  • Plan the daily patient workload to accommodate patients and provide adequate staffing to meet patient needs.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
  • Three years' CT technologist experience: Preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required
