External Description: DIRECTV is in search of a Lead Software Engineer specializing in Identity Management Solutions to architect and implement comprehensive systems, overseeing dependencies and cross-functional impacts. This position is accountable for orchestrating both immediate (sprint-to-sprint) and strategic (multi-PI) projects, structuring tasks and designs to align with long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and direction to team members within the Scrum or development teams, offering insights into technical methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices by the development team and engage in code evaluations.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and ensure applications meet performance benchmarks.
- Work alongside Enterprise and Solution Architects to outline the future state of application environments and strategize for legacy applications.
- Coordinate with the Corporate Systems team to develop and manage sustaining and enhancement budgets for all initiatives.
- Oversee the integration team that facilitates transactions between Corporate Systems applications and external entities.
- Identify risks and seek assistance from leadership when necessary to fulfill commitments or adjust strategies.
- Actively participate in the development community to advocate for best practices through peer education.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of software delivery experience in an agile framework, focusing on mobile-first cloud-based applications.
- Proficient understanding of ForgeRock platform access and identity management, with hands-on experience in developing ForgeRock journeys emphasizing SSO, Access Management, Identity Federation, Multi-factor Authentication, and Risk-based Authentication.
- Experience with NodeJS and ReactJS frameworks is essential.
- Skilled in working with REST and SOAP-based web services is preferred.
- Familiarity with Postman, SOAPUI, and Mockito is advantageous.
- Experience in deploying and troubleshooting AWS-based applications.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
- Independent problem solver with a focus on customer and client satisfaction.
Remote Work: This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.
Compensation:
DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be competitive within the market, supporting efforts to attract and retain top talent. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, reflecting the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's US Labor Market Zones.
Salary Range: $127,965 - $232,415
