We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Manager to join our team at NHC. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and leading by example.
Job SummaryThe Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring that all patients receive exceptional care and attention. Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staff scheduling, patient care planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Mentor and educate nursing staff on best practices, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent high-quality care.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure that patients are receiving appropriate care and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Manage staffing levels, ensure adequate coverage, and make adjustments as needed to meet the demands of the unit.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state where employed.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
