Job Summary

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing the development and execution of the Packaging Process roadmap, working closely with internal design, manufacturing, and reliability teams, as well as external material, equipment, and manufacturing suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation of project plans, including timelines, costs, and risk assessments, and development of mitigation plans.
  • Management of build lots and execution of technology and design rule releases to production through characterization, DOE, reliability testing, qualification, and high-volume validation.
  • Development of process plans, including process development, design rule improvement, material development, cost savings, and quality issue resolution.
  • Program management skills to keep multiple activities aligned with the overall program objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Material Science, Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or related specialization.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant technical experience in semiconductor packaging technology, with hands-on experience in SMT and Flip Chip material and process preferred.
  • Technical expertise in failure analysis, material interaction, and yield improvement.
  • Strong understanding of SPC techniques, FMEAs, Six Sigma, and Reliability Standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and presentation.
  • High proficiency in English communication at a business level.
  • Strong driver, assertive, and results-oriented, with good interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently with multi-functional and multi-cultural groups.
