Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough physical exams and medical histories to diagnose and treat illnesses
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Doctorate from an accredited medical school
- One year of medical/surgical experience
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Virginia
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The Primary Care Physician will work in a well-lighted and ventilated office/clinical setting. The role requires frequent interruptions, long hours, and changing shifts. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients and the healthcare team.
The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is necessary for instances of exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious processes. VHC Health provides PPE to ensure the safety of our healthcare professionals.
