Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shipping and Packing Specialist to join our team at Douglass Candies Inc. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are properly packaged and shipped to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare products for shipment by completing all necessary paperwork and entering data into shipping software
  • Ensure packages are shipped according to specified timelines
  • Assist with inventory counts and ensure that packing materials and supplies are well stocked
  • Inspect outgoing packages to ensure they meet quality standards and are correctly labeled to avoid shipping errors
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of packing equipment and work areas

Requirements:

  • No experience or minimum education required
  • On the job training provided

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $15.70
  • Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure
  • Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work upon completion of 50% of the work contract period
  • Reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work upon completion of the work contract or earlier dismissal
